Character design

A hermit character in an island.

It went from this....

to this, very simple and less pencil lines than the first one.

the turn around.

Study of his hands and arms, experimenting with them.

Quite a big leap from the first to the final design. Your choice or the clients?

Love the 'Popeye' arms.

muffin, feel free to post here when ever you want, I don't change! ;)
infact come in, take off your shoes, relax I provide everything but the popcorn.

Chris. My choice.

yeah, I think i'm addicted to the popeye arms, man I haven't seen that cartoon in years! I'm finding my self doing popeye arms on my a lot of my characters, some of them are more exagerated than others.

also, the Uma Thurman rocked! she's hard to draw! I'm very interested in seeing what your not showing us, you said you sometime "miss". show us your misses.

Well, look at that, it must be fate! I always carry a bag of popcorn in my inner pocket in case of offers like this. I also happen to be the master of popping (real popping - no microwave). ;)

Heri the hermit is great. With the turn around it makes it easy to animated. Is this what you plan on doing?

Master Popper. Very interesting that you pop, what do you pop to? I pop to techno beats, I might not be a master like you tho. :) share the wealth. ;)

K Mcleod. the hermit is a done project, I didn't animate him, he was just a character design, and I left it at that.

Well, I certainly didn't know I needed a popping song. :O I must get one at once. It will have to be Dooh Dooh by Röyksopp - a norwegian electronic band which I love! :D

Do you like it buttery, salty or plain?
