I like the hair.. Hair is sometimes tricky. Did you add white strokes on the top layer after all the other paint was completed? I like the color outline too.

hey Ryan, I just visited your blog, oh man! 8 months, wow.. how many hours?? I gotta do something like that!!! i'm doing something like that but with flash, and it's not rotoscoping. :p it's hard finding the time!
the hair is done the way you mention it. :) always good to see you lurking on my bloggy.

the skin, well i'm still trying to figure out how to paint, I am getting faster using huge brushes to cover large amout of area in one or two strokes, it comes out quicker and cleaner.

No Heri, not 8 months.. 1 month.. (4 weeks).. I literally was at my desk for a whole month.. I really dont know how many hours..I do remember the approx. 4 second scene where the guy takes his glasses off took 6 hours. That was a really polished scene though.

Yeah, well usually projects in school dont end up costing money.. This movie cost me 50 bucks. Of course I really used my schools' resources to the max. First I had to print out almost 1900 frames, then draw 1900 frames. Thats alot of ink from the printer and about 8 reams of paper. I used black prismacolor pencils which are about $1.00 a piece x 50 pencils.
