A post a day keeps the monsters away. I don't to go figure drawing as much as I need, but here are a few from yesterday done at the Art Institute of Los Angeles.
the guy in the orange shirt is my friend who invited me to go figure drawing, the figure model was just sitting, the class was studying the face, so they had to draw it. I founded the students more appealing to draw, since they were sketching and "measuring" the model. because you must hold the pencil in the air and close one eye.
that's it. i'm going to have to find my way into a figure drawing class, because this looks like too much fun. i actually enjoyed drawing other people more than the models myself too. btw, great links on your blog too...
whoO! those sketches look very much alive and dynamic! dig the pose in the upper left corner, though i donĀ“t know exactly why! :) keep it up! cheers, christof
